Unveiling a rich tapestry of history, The Smithy exudes a unique nostalgic charm displaying its agricultural past as part of the original buildings on Hole Farm. Lovingly restored, the Smithy encompasses not only a bygone blacksmith's workshop and former pig sties, but a milking parlour, too. Guests can enjoy The Smithy’s timeless elegance with modern conveniences and luxuries combined with original features and natural materials.

Living

With accommodation for up to 8 guests, The Smithy’s vaulted ceilings and oak beams with a light, spacious design offers both luxury and home comforts. From the considered palette of soft tones and colours, to the carefully styled furnishings this is a stylish and comfortable homestay for friends and families to enjoy.  Our fabulous fully equipped kitchen with wooden worktops and bar stools for casual breakfasts and brunches, also offers dining for eight guests to enjoy the conviviality of shared meals together in the comfort of our open plan space. Afterwards, relax in front of our snug stove with a glass or two of something delicious and settle into our comfy sofas for film nights on the Smart TV. 

Sleeping & Bathing 

Enjoy lingering lie-ins in our beautiful bedrooms. With two bedrooms located the ground floor, access is made easy. The Master bedroom includes a glorious king-size bed as well as an additional single bed that can be pulled out to make a further King size bed for the ultimate flexibility in sleeping arrangements. This bedroom offers an adjoining walk in wet room, whilst the double size beamed bedroom shares a beautiful family bathroom with the ground floor twin bedded room.

Outside

On warm days, open the doors to welcome the outside in whilst creating culinary delights, later retiring to the patio for a glass of wine as dusky skies draw in. Whatever the weather, seek ultimate relaxation in heavenly bubble bliss with our fabulous wood-fired hot tub conveniently located under the cover of an outdoor barn.
